In my two decades as a high school teacher, I’ve learned that we cannot succeed unless we first take care of the basics. That’s why my focus as a councilmember has always been on public safety; fixing our streets, sidewalks, and infrastructure; supporting small business to create jobs; and fighting for the resources for schools so we have job and college ready students.
